All this juts up against huge areas of ‘outstanding natural beauty’.

The unique coastline and years of investment in watersport tourism means we're a beacon for amateurs and professionals alike. The only problem is choosing which one to do first!

Music & Arts

But it’s not all scenery, water-sports and walks. Silicon South is home to a buzzing music and clubbing scene and if you prefer something more classical - Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, one of the UK’s preeminent major orchestras. The area is well served with theatres offering a full range of arthouse to West-End productions. You'll also find a varied programme of dance, from visiting classical companies as well as contemporary troupes.

From grammar schools to Montessori, Oxbridge feeders to middle schools, the region benefits from a good cross-section of independent and state schools, catering for all age groups.

It’s not a surprise we do have cycling, horse-riding, kite-surfing, sailing, coasteering, wonderful restaurants and great weather on our doorstep.  We also have three hospitals and two private hospitals should health support be required (and thanks to our location, we're popular with some of the best consultants in the country!).
